When I switch my trolley on and lift handles so as to lift the rear two wheels off the ground they both move with no problem. Until they go back onto the ground and then they both stop moving and instead make a grinding sound. Can you please suggest what the problem maybe? Do I need to change the golf trolley wheel clutches on both wheels perhaps?
Yes, this is exactly what is wrong with your golf trolley. Please see our clutch page here for a description of how the golf trolley wheel clutches work. You can also find help guide for a clutch problem identical to yours (Type in the question box or magnifying glass [top right] “MOTOR TURNS WHEELS DO NOT MOVE ON THE GROUND“)
There is also a guide under the mechanical problems heading on the support page. This will take you through step by step of symptoms, solutions guides and videos of how to fix these wheel clutches. And purchasing on our store.
I hope this helps, and let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you very much for getting back to me and confirming, as I suspected, I will need to change both the wheel clutches. Also for the useful guides on your website, much appreciated.
