I have had trouble with the speed control (It only goes fast) just fitted a new control switch, but it didn’t solve the problem. I have checked all wires for breaks and all seem ok. Any ideas, Many thanks
Normally if the golf trolley speed is jumping around sometimes missing a speed then if you keep turning
it jumps to say speed 6 or 7 then the speed control switch is at fault. If the trolley is only providing full
speed no matter what you do with the speed control then this usually indicates the controller box is faulty,
this is located under the battery tray. Depending on the type of handle circuit which is in the trolley, there
are a couple of different controllers that have to be fitted. Check out your handle circuit and have a
look at the website store at the descriptions and pictures for each controller and its respective handle
circuits. Either the S3…. or the S1G… . The S1G… controller will fit the rectangular handle circuit which is
standard on the original ProRider T handle model and a few other makes.
I have put in a photo of my control box, the Web site gives 2 options so I am not clear which I need. The trolley has got a T handle.
Yes the replacement for this controller is the S1G-T2D3-J-12V controller. Available on the website store. This is for the newer style wing T bar handle.
The part arrived OK and works great! Many thanks for you help.
