Golf trolleys and QUALITY!

QUALITY GOLF TROLLEYS

Firstly, you only get what you pay for! Could it be that some retailers are paying more for quality components and build.

Where should I buy a golf trolley?

Our advice is always buy from a dedicated Internet trolley dealer. This way you will gain by getting a better price. Take Precision Golf Trolleys normal RRP is between £279 and £319 . These RRP and shop prices reflect the need for the premises and staff costs/overheads. A dedicated golf trolley Internet retailer can reduce their overheads and therefore the end price to the customer. Electric Golf Trolley Network do have the expertise of golf trolleys and the workshop space for servicing, unlike all product supermarkets.

What to look for in and Electric golf trolley

General design and materials would be the first choice.  The design has to meet your demands especially sizes, erected and folded for ease of transport.  Weight is another consideration in the general trolley design.  Quality materials and fittings well built to fit together well in solid construction.

Golf trolley battery:  Beware of cheaper quality batteries which are sold on most cheaper golf trolleys always ask if it is the Shenzen Rita power battery, then you will know it is made in China.

Golf trolley battery specifications;  Watch that the company gives you the specifications of the batteries they are selling with the trolley.  Look for the PDF or download sheet or even a specification sheet explaining all regarding the battery supplied with the electric golf trolley.

The motor build on the golf trolley should be of a reputable company e.g. like Linix motor and gearbox are good quality.

Once you have established the seller is a not just a wholesale outlet but a dedicated supplier of Electric Golf Trolleys then you have done most of your homework for buying.  Remember not always the very cheapest is the best buy.  Don’t get indulged into looking around trying to scavenge a couple of pounds here or there.  Try to figure out the reason for the cheap price, they maybe internet based to keep administration costs to minimum; they may sell accessories in with the trolley keeping P & P to a minimum.

Cheap electric golf trolleys

Many people browse the internet for electric golf trolleys looking to pick up a bargain.  Although this may be possible in a few cases, buying any electric golf trolleys should consider why it is so cheap.  it may be possible it is an internet based company which can allow them to keep the ocsts to a minimum.  Buying cheap is OK but find out why the company selling the electric golf trolleys will not only be making much profit and have little staff and building service costs to maintain.  Many of these cheap trolley sellers are warehouse import companies who know little if anything about the products they are selling, their policy tends to be and some are proud of this ‘stack em high sell‘em cheap’  So ALWAYS go to a DEDICATED electric golf trolley seller whether internet based or not.

What you should do is check out the companies product range, if they are selling more than electric golf trolleys we would recommend avoiding them completely and look for a dedicated trolley seller.

I found that a lesser known brand to be the best on the market

I found that a lesser known brand to be the best on the market.

Last year I purchased a Power Bug Trolley.

It was well priced at around £260.00 and has proven to be most reliable.

I have contacted the people at Powerbug to order some accessories and found them really helpful and pleasant to talk with.

This year my wife has bought the new digital model from powerbug for £260.00 and its fantastic!

I see lots of people are starting to use this brand and I have yet to hear a bad comment about it.

Any views on trolleys you have had and what you think of them.

I have had both the cheaper Electric golf trolleys and the Powakaddy freeway model. The cost of the freeway is expensive in comparison to the cheaper models from dealers. I found the cheaper models don’t last as long and they are not as robust, I guess you have to be careful with how you use it. On the other hand the Powakaddy lasts and can take more abuse without the parts breaking.
