Motorised Golf Trolleys

Lately motorised golf trolleys have become more and more accepted in the younger aged market.  These powered trolleys were originally seen as a retirement purchase or similar is now frequently used by younger aged groups.

Lately the electric golf trolley consumer growth area has been for the 30 – 50 year old category who have put vanity behind them and the old hard man adage of ‘you’ve got to carry your clubs son’.  Not only this age group but even younger, down to youth and juniors have been getting converted.  They notice and realise if single figure handicap players are using golf trolleys, then the idea if its good enough for the better players I guess its good enough for me, or maybe; if I play with an motorised golf trolley then it may help my game to be as good a quality as the single figure players.

This is not far from the truth, as FIRST reported by www.electricgolftrolley.net a few years ago, then taken up by many manufacturers in their advertising, the motorised golf trolley helps not only in you sustaining your physical fitness within a round of golf, but also your mental fitness.  This leads to better concentration and therefore clearer thinking with fresher muscles for playing your next shot.  Of course put together this can make quite a difference to your overall score, and taking it throughout the year a substantial handicap cut.

Next time you are at or near a low handicap event especially a 36 hole, whether your own club or it’s a visiting tournament, check out the number of players with motorised golf trolleys.  Check out the age of these players.  One golfer was at the national under 16 years of age amateur championship and noticed the amount of juniors using motorised golf trolleys quite amazing.  Whether at their age it would have the same benefits is debatable but for sure, it can only help.
